Right Touch Painting: from running blind to seeing where jobs begin

A growing painting company had agency fees, ad spend and organic traffic — but no reliable way to see which inquiries became closed jobs. In September, we built the connections to make that journey visible.

Tracking system built in September 2026 · Closed-job records through September 28 (month in progress)

The setup

When paid campaigns, organic search, phone calls and repeat business all contribute inquiries, a single source label cannot explain the full picture. September 2026 is when Fused Media built a connected tracking system for Right Touch Painting. It connects website click evidence and tracked calls to leads, quotes and closed jobs recorded in Paintforce. The project is about knowing what is happening before making bigger marketing decisions — not claiming that a month of new tracking created the jobs recorded that month.

What we did

  • 01

    Connect calls and website inquiries

Bring tracked call evidence and website click signals together with lead records, so the team can inspect where an inquiry started and how the customer got in touch.

  • 02

    Follow inquiries to sales

Connect Paintforce lead, quote and closed-job updates to show the progression from initial contact to recorded job, instead of treating a CRM source field as the whole story.

  • 03

    Keep source credit honest

Review verified advertising signals alongside organic and repeat-customer context. Returning customers keep primary repeat-customer credit; an ad call can remain visible as a supporting touch without double-counting revenue.

The results

  • The September tracking work connects website and phone evidence to sales records, replacing guesswork with a clearer inquiry-to-job history.
  • September 1–28 closed-job records show 79 jobs and $404,892 in recorded revenue across all sources; the month is not complete, and those figures are not advertising returns.
  • The company aims to double revenue next year, using clearer attribution to guide decisions as broader marketing management is planned. That growth has not happened and is not guaranteed.

Key takeaways

  • Attribution is the foundation for future decisions, not proof that the tracking system generated September sales.
  • Verified call and click evidence should inform source review; an unverified CRM source label is not definitive.
  • Repeat-customer relationships retain primary credit even when advertising helped the customer reconnect.

Frequently asked questions

  • What changed for Right Touch Painting in September?

Fused Media connected website tracking and tracked call evidence with Paintforce leads, quotes and closed jobs, giving the team a clearer view of the path from inquiry to sale.

  • Are the September job totals attributed to advertising or the new tracking system?

No. The 79 closed jobs and $404,892 in recorded job revenue through September 28 are totals from all sources, including organic and repeat business. They are not an ad return or a measured impact of the new system.

  • Does Fused Media manage Right Touch Painting’s advertising now?

The September project tracks the company’s existing advertising alongside website, phone and sales activity. Taking over broader marketing is planned for the future and is not presented as work already completed.

  • Can a repeat customer who calls an ad-tracked number still count as a repeat customer?

Yes. Repeat Customer remains the primary source when that relationship is known; the tracked advertising interaction may appear as supporting evidence without dividing or duplicating the job revenue.
